| Employment responsibilities and rights |
Employment rights and responsibilities will be delivered and assessed as part of the apprenticeship/modern apprenticeship induction process. Skills for Security Ltd have produced a workbook that apprentices may use to record information and which assesses their level of knowledge relating to:
· the rights and responsibilities of workers (including diversity, harassment, victimisation legislation etc);
· the industry bodies, disciplinary and grievance policies and procedures
· Health and Safety policies and procedures
Alternatively, providers may use their own procedures provided that they comply with the national minimum requirements. A record of the apprentice’s achievement in this aspect of the apprenticeship/modern apprenticeship, signed by a senior manager of the provider organisation must be submitted to Skills for Security for certification purposes.
This component of the framework meets the national minimum requirements.
