Travel Services Apprenticeship - Recreation and Travel
Apprentices could work as a leisure travel consultant, business travel consultant or resort representative. The Apprenticeship is widely used by leisure travel employers and is a main entry route to the industry for young people.
The Skills Council for this sector is called People 1st and covers hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars and nightclubs, contract food service providers, membership clubs, events, gambling, travel services, tourist services, visitor attractions, youth hostels, holiday parks, self-catering accommodation and hospitality services.
