BT has chosen to sponsor the Advanced Apprentice award to demonstrate its full commitment to the LSC and the Apprenticeship scheme. BT is supporting this commitment by again recruiting apprentices in excess of the numbers graduating.
Our focus is to develop highly motivated and capable individuals by giving them the opportunity and encouragement to achieve their full potential and this is paramount to our scheme. Working in partnership with the LSC and our training provider, Accenture Learning, we in BT accept this principle as right for our business and the apprentice.
BT returned to the apprenticeship field in 1996 and have continually expanded and hence continued to improve the programme for both the apprentice and the business return on investment.
The scheme now offers Young Apprenticeships, Apprenticeships, Advanced Apprenticeships and Higher Apprenticeships across a wide range of roles and lines of businesses. The scheme delivers academic, work based and life skills development in all cases.
