Apprenticeship Awards 2008
79 days to the
Apprenticeship Awards
Welcome to the Apprenticeship Awards 2008 website.
The Apprenticeship Awards are held annually and hosted by the Learning and Skills Council, who manage and fund Apprenticeships in England.
Now in their fifth year the Awards have been designed to recognise and reward both employers and apprentices who are successfully using Apprenticeships to improve their business performance and tackle skills shortages, whose contribution to the workplace has exceeded their employers’ expectations and resulted in measurable benefits or who have overcome difficulties to succeed through their Apprenticeship.
The quality of entries, from both employers and apprentices, in previous years has been outstanding, with over 1,100 entries received in 2007 alone. So if you are an employer who is committed to training your workforce through Apprenticeships and can clearly show the direct benefits to your business or if you are an apprentice who is succeeding in your chosen career through your Apprenticeship then an Apprenticeship Award could be the perfect opportunity for you to shine.
Submission for applications is now closed.
The prestigious Oscars-style Apprenticeship Awards 2008 will be held on the 10th July at the Royal Horticultural Halls in central London.
