Health - Maternity and Paediatric Support

This Advanced Level Apprenticeship aims to provide the skills and knowledge required to become competent in supporting Maternity and Paediatric Professionals.

Various support roles (for example healthcare support worker, healthcare assistant, maternity support worker, paediatric support worker) work alongside Maternity and Paediatric Professionals – such as doctors, midwives, nurses and allied health professionals – to provide patient care in a range of settings including clinics, people’s homes and hospitals.

Designed as a work-based programme this Advanced Level Apprenticeship includes qualifications at QCF Level 3. The average duration for completion of an Apprenticeship is 18 months.
