Health - Healthcare Support Services

This Apprenticeship aims to provide the skills and knowledge required to become competent in supporting Health Professionals.

Various support roles exist within the health sector, for example porter, housekeeper, switchboard operator, gardener, records management, ward clerk, etc. These roles are central to the smooth running of healthcare services.

Designed as a work-based programme this Apprenticeship includes qualifications at QCF Level 2 and 3. The average duration for completion of an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship is 12 months and of an Advanced Level Apprenticeship is 18 months.
