Health - Clinical Healthcare Support

This Apprenticeship aims to provide the skills and knowledge required to become competent in supporting health professionals – such as doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and healthcare scientists – to provide clinical healthcare.

As an apprentice, you could work in various clinical healthcare support roles (for example as a clinical healthcare support worker or healthcare assistant) alongside health professionals to provide patient care in a range of settings.

Designed as a work-based programme this Apprenticeship includes qualifications at QCF Level 2 and 3. The average duration for completion of an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship is 12 months and of an Advanced Level Apprenticeship is 18 months.
