Health - Blood Donor Support

This Advanced Level Apprenticeship is aimed at individuals who work as Donor Carers/Support Workers within NHS Blood and Transplant.

The role involves providing information to donors, assisting with the health screening of some donors, assisting doctors and nurses to collect blood donations and may include driving the team vehicles to and from the donation session.

Designed as a work-based programme this Apprenticeship includes qualifications at QCF Level 3. The average duration for completion of this Apprenticeship is 18 months.
