Who can access / download the collateral?
Anyone is able to access and download our collateral. No registration is required.
How do I download a file?
Once you have found the item you wish to download, click on the file download link. Then for;
- Zip/Doc Files - you will be given option to open or save the file
- PDFs - the PDF will open in a new window, choose save from the file menu
- Image files (Jpg/Png) - the file will open in a new window, right-click on the image and choose 'save picture as'.
Alternatively, right-click (PC) or click and hold (Mac) on the file download link and select 'save target as'. This will then give you the option of saving the file in a specific location and prevent the browser from attempting to display the file.
How long will it take to download a file?
The amount of time it takes to download a file will depend on your internet connection bandwidth. Files available on the LSC Campaign Resources Site have file sizes listed in Kilobytes (KB). These file sizes give an indication of download times. Below are a list of estimated times to download a 1000KB file across some common connection speeds:
56K: 142 seconds
ISDN: 71 seconds
512K Broadband: 16 seconds
I am encountering problems when viewing / downloading files?
If you have problems viewing and or downloading our collateral files, please email us website@apprenticeships.gov.uk. Please give as much information as possible, such as the file you are trying to view / download and the internet browser you are using (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera or Google Chrome).
How do I obtain the 'Bliss' type face for Apprenticeships?
You can purchase the 'Bliss' typce face from Jeremy Tankard Typography at www.typography.net.
