To support your work with young people and adults looking for an Apprenticeship, this information is also available as a PDF for you to print off and distribute, or simply email, including your colleagues. Click here to view/download the PDF (3.1Mb).

Step 1
Young people and adults should go to the online Apprenticeship vacancies system.

Step 2
Register their details.

Step 3
The ‘My Home’ page is their own secure space where they can use it to:

  • search for Apprenticeship vacancies and save their search results
  • reply to vacancies online
  • manage their applications.

Step 4
Start searching for vacancies using any of the following criteria:

  • occupation/job role
  • employer
  • keyword
  • learning provider
  • location/postcode

Step 5
Browse their results. Young people and adults can click on any of the listed vacancies for more information. Each listing gives detailed information about the job, including the employer, training, pay and the qualifications they would be working towards. They can save their search results if they wish so that they are available to view at any time.

Step 6
Once they’ve found a job, applying is easy. The application form is simple, secure and re-usable, so apprentices can respond to as many vacancies as they like, and save your application forms. They can also view the status of their applications and manage them online.
