Hays Travel has worked closely with the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) to develop and fund their in-house apprenticeship programme.
Hays Travel training manager, Katie Woods-Ruddick, said: “This is a massive achievement for us and a great move forward for the company. We really believe that this will enhance our employees’ learning and development and will also give us complete control.”
John Wayman, regional director at NAS, said: “We are delighted to be able to support Hays with the further development of their apprenticeship programme. The organisation has an excellent long term view of staff recruitment and workforce development by enhancing the skills of its current and future workforce via apprenticeships. Hays is one of a growing number of organisations which see the positive impact that apprenticeships can have on service delivery and customer satisfaction.”
To deliver their in-house qualifications, Hays Travel has partnered with Pearson Work Based Learning, the UK’s largest provider of work-based qualifications.
