We see apprentices inspecting the underside of a vehicle.

Mat says “We take a lot of pride in our apprentices; we put a lot into them. The work that we do for the Armed Forces is incredibly important. If our vehicles break down lives depend on them.”

Apprentices are working inside and out on a tank.

Andy says “You’ve got to appreciate what they’re doing; it’s got to be A1, spot on. There’s no second chance.”

Mat says “What we get from the apprenticeship scheme is people we know we can trust.”

Andy says “Everyone’s willing to help and give you a hand, and share their knowledge.”

oseph says “This will give me more training then any other workshop any other apprenticeship would give me.”

Mat and a colleague are talking

Andy says “You pick up so many different skills I think, that you can use in a career, on anything. We’re working on anything from track, to tanks, to little Harley Davidson bikes, there’s such a broad spectrum of things to do.”

Mat says “Our apprentices have to be adaptable; they have to be able to over come any situation that’s put in front of them. The apprenticeship scheme that we offer at DSG Warminster is second to none I think the proof in that is that just last year at the graduation ceremony we had a third generation apprentice come out of DSG Warminster. We want to be the first choice apprenticeship scheme within the area.”
